Rolls-Royce creates bespoke Ghost to battle breast cancer

Rolls-Royce is lending a helping hand to support breast cancer awareness.

Rolls-Royce has teamed with Chris Evans and his FAB1 Million project to create a one-off Ghost to help support breast cancer awareness.

Commissioned as part of Evans' FAB1 Million project - which aims to raise £1 million for Breast Cancer Care - the bespoke long-wheelbase Ghost features an eye-catching pink paint job, along with a customized interior finished in Blushing Pink and Crème Light leather. Even the Ghost's door-mounted umbrellas are finished in pink, the official color of breast cancer awareness.

In addition to the Ghost's standard luxury amenities, the one-off edition boasts hand veneered picnic tables, 9.2 inch LCD screens and a champagne coolbox. The package also includes a 16-speaker sound system thumping out 600 Watts.

"When I received the call from Chris Evans to support FAB1 Million, we immediately sprang into action,” said Jolyon Nash, Rolls-Royce Sales and Marketing Director. "It's taken countless hours to create such a special car but every minute spent is absolutely worth it for such a valuable cause. We wish the project every success.”

The entire project was loosely based on the pink Rolls-Royce that starred in the 1960s British science-fiction television series Thunderbirds, which was nicknamed FAB1.

Unlike other fundraising vehicles, the Ghost won't be sold at auction but rather rented out over the next 12-months. All proceeds from the car's rental will benefit Breast Cancer Care.
