Geneva LIVE: Subaru VIZIV Adrenaline Concept

Subaru is debuting a new design language in Geneva.

Subaru has pulled the veil on its VIZIV Adrenaline Concept at the 89th Geneva Motor Show. The styling concept is intended to usher in a new design language for the Subaru brand.

Subaru says the VIZIV Adrenaline Concept previews the company's new design language, known as Bolder. Subaru is hoping the new look will "define the characteristics of Subaru vehicles more prominently, and create more enjoyment for all passengers.”

Given its classification as a design study, it remains to be seen how much production value the VIZIV Adrenaline Concept actually has. However, given its overall design and shape, we could see the VIZIV Adrenaline Concept previewing the next-generation Subaru Crosstrek.

Subaru made no mention of what powertrain resides under the VIZIV Adrenaline Concept's muscular hood but, given its lack of tail pipes, it's probably some kind of electrical system. If the VIZIV Adrenaline Concept is using a conventional drivetrain, you can bet it's in a boxer configuration.

Subaru hasn't announced when we will see the new Bolder design language in dealerships, but it should be within the next few years.
