Shocking videos show Tesla Model 3 exploding on Moscow highway

The driver claims Autopilot was engaged when he hit a stationary tow truck.

Shocking videos have captured the aftermath of a Tesla Model 3 accident on a Moscow highway.

Driver Alexei Tretyakov was allegedly using Autopilot when he and the car failed to see the parked truck, hitting it at around 62 mph, according to Reuters.

Video shot by another motorist shows the Model 3 fully engulfed in flames, causing several small explosions. Another video from a traffic camera appears to show the car slam into the stopped truck before catching fire.

Tretyakov claims to have suffered a broken leg, while his children escaped with only bruises.
