Toyota 4Runner gains more tech for 2020
The SUV benefits from Toyota's latest safety features, a new instrument panel and eight-inch infotainment system.
Toyota has rolled out a long list of technology upgrades for the 2020 4Runner lineup.
The company's Safety Sense P (TSS-P) safety suite is now standard on all trim levels. The package includes automatic braking, pedestrian detection, lane departure alert, sway warning, automatic high beams and adaptive cruise control.
Inside, the 2020 model year introduces a new instrument panel design and a high-resolution eight-inch touchscreen display for certain configurations. The SUV also adds support for Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and Amazon Alexa.
The TRD Pro edition benefits from standard smart-key and push-button-start tech, while adding a TRD-branded car-back exhaust that promises to give the V6 engine more of a prominent growl.
Toyota has not yet announced pricing details for the 2020 4Runner.
