Volkswagen is celebrating another milestone for ID.3 pre-orders, receiving 20,000 deposits in the first month.
The company received approximately 15,000 deposits in the first week and added another 5,000 in the following three weeks.
"We originally wanted to reach 30,000 by the IAA in September," Jürgen Stackmann, the brand's marketing and sales head, wrote on Twitter.
The German automaker initially reported strong demand in its home country along with Norway, the Netherlands, the UK, and Sweden.
The first reservation holders are expected to receive their all-electric ID.3 hatchback by mid-2020.
