Thriving Porsche hands out bonuses to employees

Porsche will distribute about $45 million in bonuses to its 11,700 full-time employees, equaling nearly $3,900 each. The company appears to be in excellent financial shape, with relatively stable sales, a new 20 percent stake in Volkswagen, the well-recieved launch of the Cayman S, and the upcoming Panamera. The German sports carmaker said previously that its year-on-year revenue improved by nearly 7 percent to about $7.8 billion. Last year, employees each collected more than $3,600 in bonuses.
