Photos depicting "Chevrolet Camaro Concept" surface online

A series of photographs began circulating on internet forums this morning of what is allegedly a prototype for the forthcoming Chevrolet Camaro Concept. While we can't confirm the authenticity of these photos, several sources suggest they are promotional photos GM intends to release to the press in the near future. The photos were published by a website called LS1Tech and are currently being hosted by Supercars.net. Photos of the front and rear of the car are currently available online, in addition to an interior picture. It's unclear if GM plans to use the Camaro nameplate for this car, due to a long-standing contractual agreement with the original Camaro/Firebird manufacturer. Incidentally, that agreement is said to expire at the end of the month. A recent report indicated the car would come with a Corvette engine, and would either be called Camaro or Chevelle. Recently, spy photographers snapped pictures of an undisguised 2006 Dodge Challenger concept.
