Chrysler to halt Crossfire production?

Production of the Chrysler Crossfire roadster and coupe could be on the verge of being halted, according to a report by AutoExpress. However, a Chrysler spokesperson wasn't so pessimistic. The representitive said Chrysler will certainly reduce output, but "this doesn't mean we are looking to end production outright." Recently, Reuters reported that Chrysler would pay the company that makes the Crossfire to reduce the contracted output volume. The Crossfire sits on the lot for an average of 302 days. Poor sales have been blamed largely on the price of the Crossfire, which many feel is far to high.
