Ford planning Bronco, hatchback for 2009?

Compact cars like the Toyota Echo have failed to attract target "Generation Y" buyers because they lack aggressiveness and presence, Global Insight analyst John Wolkonowicz told the Chicago Tribune. But Wolkonowicz and other analysts are confident tougher compact cars like the Dodge Hornet Concept, Honda Fit and Dodge Caliber have a chance of winning over Gen Y. Wolkonowicz, a former product planner for Ford, also revealed in his discussion with the Tribune that Ford plans to put its boxy Bronco concept into production for the 2009 model year. He said the company is also planning an aggressive compact hatchback. Ford Reflex Concept, anyone?
