Porsche to build Panamera sedan at Carrera facility

Porsche plans to build its 2009 Panamera sedan at the Leipzig plant in Germany, where it previously built the Carrera GT. Production of the Carrera GT ended earlier this month, and rumors have since emerged that the automaker is retooling the facility for the Panamera. Porsche has reportedly organized a press conference at the plant for tomorrow (Friday, May 19). According to Auto Motor und Sport, sources say Porsche will announce the facility will be used for a "fourth series," and might even specifically name the Panamera. So far, the automaker has only released a sketch (shown right) of the car.
