Mazda prices MX-5 hardtop only slightly above canvas variant

While U.S. pricing has not yet been announced, Mazda U.K. has confirmed prices for the 2007 Mazda MX-5 'Roadster Coupe.' The car -- which has a pwoer-operated folding hardtop roof -- will cost just Ã'£1,200 more than the soft top model. Because American prices don't usually follow the standard exchange rate between British pounds and U.S. dollars, we suspect the premium here in North America will be $1,500. We'll keep you posted.
