More Hummer models on the way

General Motors wants to add several new models to its Hummer lineup, according to Vice Chairman Bob Lutz. "Hummer needs some more products. It needs two or three more products to give it sufficient market coverage," Lutz told reporters at the opening of a Hummer dealership in Paris, according to Reuters.

Lutz said making a traditional pickup truck -- unlike the short-bed H2 SUT -- remains an "option." GM executives have also said a smaller Hummer positioned against the new Jeep Wrangler is possible. In June, rumors began circulating that General Motors might dump the Chevrolet TrailBlazer and effectively replace it with a new Hummer model called the H4.
