More on the 2007 Ford Mondeo sedan

Following a widely-publicized leak over two weeks ago of photos the 2007 Ford Mondeo sedan, the automaker has finally released some official photography of the car. The car will star in the upcoming James Bond film 'Casino Royale,' in theaters November 17th.

The car pictured is actually a one-off vehicle built specifically for the movie at Ford of Europe's Design Studio in Cologne, Germany. Since production of the new Mondeo is not yet underway, this was the only way for the car to appear in the film. Ford insists the production car will look identical. The vehicle shown is representative of the new Mondeo with a sports bodykit.

"On the big screen, the new Mondeo looks impressive and eye-catching, and we're convinced this appearance, although brief, will stimulate early customer interest in the new model," said Stephen Odell, Ford of Europe Vice President for Marketing Sales and Service. Gallery after the jump...
