Police Car Friday ultimate video roundup: Crown Vic vs Ford Taurus

At Leftlane we determined it would only be fitting to post classic high-speed police chases in light of Ford's newest Police Interceptor. Of course, we start with the perfect chase: Crown Vic Police Interceptor chasing a speeding Ford Taurus with an armed driver.



First up is high-speed chase in which a Police Interceptor Crown Victoria is in pursuit of a fleeing Taurus, complete with shoot outs, spike strips and a broken leg. You have to see it to believe it - particularly the ending.




The second video is definitely a YouTube classic, with the infamous Sonic Blue Ford Mustang with a driver that refuses to give up. After numerous failed pit maneuvers, the faithful Crown Vic notches another one on the old belt with a successful pit maneuver.

The next video takes the prize for most pathetic production attempt - yes, someone filmed their TV screen and posted it on Youtube. But, you have to give the driver some credit for his faithful attempt at playing Grand Theft Auto on his console of real life.

Oh, and yes, that is a squad of Crown Vics surrounding the driver.
