Dodge reveals Mopar '10 Challenger imagesby Mark Kleis
Dodge's initial reveal of the limited edition Mopar '10 Challenger was fairly meager with just a single illustration - now we have several photos to add to the collection.
To help send off the final year of the current model Challenger, Dodge created a limited run model to be known as the Mopar '10 Challenger - but until now, we had little more than a single illustration and a flash video to see this new muscle car.
Dodge has now blessed us with a series of several photographs of the Mopar '10 challenger, both inside and out.
Based on the 2010 Challenger R/T model, the Mopar '10 features Dodge's familiar 5.7L HEMI V8, but also adds a hood-venting system, cold-air intake, front and rear strut-tower braces and a unique engine cover - all compliments of Mopar. A vented T/A-style hood - complete with hood pins - and gloss-black 20-inch wheels are also part of the Mopar package.

As outlined in the video, the Mopar '10 will only be available in Brilliant Black, but customers will have the option of three accent colors - Mopar Blue, Red or Silver. Whatever accent color is chosen will continue through the car's interior, appearing on seat and steering wheel stitching.
Just 500 examples of the Mopar '10 are planned for production, with sales slated to kick off next year. Pricing for the Mopar '10 starts at $38,000 for the automatic model, with the six-speed manual version carrying a price of $39,000 - both including the $750 destination charge.
Mopar '10 buyers will also receive a car cover and a special owner kit that includes a certificate with the vehicle identification number, date of build completion, build number and a sketch of the Mopar '10 penned by Chrysler Group design chief Mark Trostle.
