Is this Ayrton Senna’s 1993 Honda NSX?

A man on eBay claims to be auctioning off Senna’s personal Honda NSX.

Up for auction could very well be one of the coolest cars ever sold: Ayrton Senna's 1993 Honda NSX.

The black-on-black sports car was recently spotted on eBay in Portugal. In the item description, the owner claims the first and previous owner was the infamous Formula One driver Ayrton Senna. The seller even goes so far to contend that Senna's footprint can still be seen in the floor mat from the last time he drove it. The car only has 31 miles on the clock so it's plausible.

The seller offers up no more evidence to establish provenance than the mention of the car in "Adrianne Galisteu's book (pages 25 and 86).” While just the chance of owning Senna's NSX is enough for some, to fetch a large sum, he'll likely have to show a bit more proof than that.

Regardless of the owner history, the car does appear to be in unmolested, top-notch shape. The serial number is also pretty cool, too, at number 999. As this article is written, the current bid for the potentially hugely desirable NSX is at 47,500 Pounds, which is just shy of $74,000.

Should more info on this car surface, validating the owner's claims, the bidding could go sky high. If any more is learned about this mysterious NSX, we'll be sure to bring it to you.
