Lexus LC Yellow Edition announced for Europeby Ben Hsu
The exclusive edition features Sport+ goodies and lots of yellow paint.
Lexus has introduced a limited edition version of its LC grand tourer called, simply, the Yellow Edition. It is, as you might have guessed, painted yellow.
Available on both LC 500 and LC 500h trim levels, the car comes only in Vibrant Flare Yellow exterior color. The interior features swaths of yellow Alcantara on the door panels, as well as yellow stitching on the seats, dash, steering wheel, and armrests. An "LC Limited Edition" scuff plate adorns the door sills.
All Yellow Edition models come in Sport+ trim, which includes a Torsen limited-slip differential, variable-ratio steering, adaptive suspension, and four-wheel steering. It also features a carbon fibre roof panel and an active rear spoiler, and the only wheel choice is the optional 21-inch split-spokes.
Lately, Lexus has been slathering yellow on a its high-performance offerings, but the cars haven't reached the US. Likewise, the Yellow Edition will only be available in the EU and Europe. It debuts at the Paris Motor Show in October and will hit dealers in autumn.
