New York LIVE: 2020 Mercedes-AMG GLC 63, 63 Coupe

The GLC 63 S Coupe is claimed to be the fastest SUV around the Nurburgring.

Mercedes-AMG has revealed the 2020 GLC 63, GLC 63 Coupe, and GLC 63 S Coupe at the New York International Auto Show.

The standard GLC 63 and coupe are both powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 with 469 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque, while the S edition has been tuned to deliver 503 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque.

The German automaker claims the S trim is the fastest SUV to lap the Nurburgring, completing the famed circuit in 7.49.369 minutes.

The refreshed GLC features new headlight/taillight designs, new 21-inch optional wheels, trapezoidal tailpipe trims, and new AMG Dynamics drive modes. The interior has been revamped with a new AMG-specific Mbux infotainment system, updated AMG steering wheel, and new upholstery with yellow contrast stitching.

Deliveries of the new GLC 63 models will begin in the US late this year.
