NY LIVE: 2020 Nissan 370Z 50th Anniversary Edition
The Z car turns 50.
The GT-R isn't the only Nissan sports car getting a 50th Anniversary Edition in New York -- the Japanese automaker is also taking time to recognize the Z's 50th birthday.
In order to mark the occasion, Nissan is introducing a special 50th Anniversary package for the current 370Z. The package is based on the entry-level Sport trim level of the 370.
The 50th anniversary package features a unique sticker package inspire by the #46 BRE (Brock Racing Enterprises) Datsun 240Z that won multiple SCCA National Championships. The sticker package includes hood, roof and trunk decals, as well as striping on the coupe's doors.
Buyers will be able to select one of two colors schemes -- white with red accents, or silver with black accents. Both versions of the special edition Z also include 19-inch wheels and a rear spoiler delete.
The interior of the 50th anniversary Z gets an Alcantara steering wheel, leather seats with unique stitching, anniversary kick plates and a smattering of 50th anniversary logos.
The 50th anniversary Z's powertrain remains unchanged -- it's still a 3.7L V6 making 332 horsepower and 270 lb-ft of torque. Buyers will have the option of a six-speed manual or a seven-speed automatic.
Pricing has not been announced.
