Subaru prices 2018 Crosstrekby Drew Johnson
The 2018 Crosstrek will be slightly more expensive than the model it replaces.
Subaru has announced pricing for its all-new Crosstrek compact utility vehicle. The 2018 Crosstrek is scheduled to arrive in dealer showrooms within the next few weeks.
Pricing for the entry-level Crosstrek 2.0i will start from $21,795, representing a modest $100 increase over the previous model. For that extra hundred bucks buyers will get a more powerful 2.0L Boxer engine (up 4 horsepower to 152) and a six-speed manual gearbox in place of last year's five-speed unit.
For the first time, buyers of the Crosstrek 2.0i model can specify Subaru's Lineartronic Continuously Variable Transmission. That model will carry an MSRP of $22,795. Other upgrades to the 2.0i model include a 6.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility, power windows with auto up/down for the driver and front passenger and power side mirrors.
The mid-level Crosstrek Premium trim will carry a base price of $22,595 an includes a standard six-speed manual transmission, SUBARU STARLINK Connected Services, heated front seats and auto on/off headlights linked to the vehicles wiper system. Opting for the CVT bumps the Premium's price tag to $23,595.
The top-spec Limited model gets 18-inch wheels, an eight-inch infotainment screen, leather seats keyless access, power driver's seat, blind spot detection and cross-traffic alert. It'll carry a base price of $26,295.
All price exclude a mandatory $915 destination charge.
Premium and above models equipped with a CVT can be optioned with Subaru's Eyesight safety system. Option packages with Eyesight start from $1,395. Fully option a Crosstrek Limited and you'll be out the door for over $30,000.
