Tesla Model 3 tops Consumer Reports' list of most satisfying cars
Owners were asked to rate their cars' driving experience, comfort, value, styling, audio and climate systems.
The Tesla Model 3 has earned another accolade, topping Consumer Reports' list of the 10 "most satisfying" vehicles.
"Our subscribers provide great insights into their satisfaction by answering one simple question: If they had it to do all over again, would they definitely buy or lease the same model?" the magazine explains.
Owners were also asked to rate their cars in terms of driving experience, comfort, value, styling, audio, and climate systems.
The Model 3 was ranked ahead of the Porsche 911 and the Genesis G90 in the top three, while the Model S held the fifth spot and the Chevrolet Bolt and Toyota Prius took eighth and ninth, respectively. At the other end of the spectrum, the Acura ILX was deemed the least satisfying model.
The Model 3 initially fell short in CR's reliability-focused surveys, though it was eventually deemed the top choice among luxury compact cars after Tesla addressed a few hiccups with early production units.
