A live-stream unveiling event has been scheduled for November 15.
Toyota has released a teaser photo for the next-generation Corolla sedan, scheduled for an official unveiling later this week.
The darkened shot highlights a new headlight design with curved strips of LED daytime running lights, adopting the same design as the latest Corolla hatchback.
The sedan keeps its gaping maw grille and adds even bigger faux air intakes surrounding the foglights.
Built upon Toyota's flexible TNGA platform architecture, the new Corolla sedan is likely to feature chassis improvements and more interior space. The company's latest 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine will presumably make an appearance with 168 horsepower and 151 pound-feet of torque.
The Japanese automaker will show the 2020 Corolla sedan via live stream on Thursday, November 15.
