Lexus’ next LS will inaugurate the V6.
Details are beginning to emerge about what will power Toyota’s born-again Supra.
The Supra won’t get the honor of inaugurating the V6, however. It’ll most likely make its debut early next year under the hood of the next-generation Lexus LS, and it could find its way into the GS’ engine bay before it goes in the Supra.
The next Toyota Supra is tentatively scheduled to make its debut in 2019, meaning it might not land until the 2020 model year. Enthusiasts who are saving up for the BMW-badged model are in luck because an earlier rumor claims we’ll see it about a year before the Supra.
What about BMW?

Wow, over 400 horsepower from a V6? Can’t wait to see this beast in action! 🔥
Why isn’t Toyota using a V8 for the Supra? 🤔
Does anyone know if the new Supra will be available in manual transmission?
As a Supra fan, I’m super excited about this! Bring on the twin-turbo V6! 🚗💨
How will this new Supra compare to the BMW version? Any details on that?
