Production of the Lotus 2-Eleven is scheduled to commence in April 2007. The car is initially available in Launch Edition specification only, which boasts a three-way Lotus Sport color scheme complete with decal pack.
A “Road Going Version” is fitted with front and rear lights, exhaust catalyst, single plane rear wing and other items to achieve compliance with road legal requirements.
The “Track Only Version” is equipped with an enhanced aerodynamics package including high downforce single plane carbon fibre rear wing, high downforce front splitter, brake lights and rear indicators and FIA approved driver’s race seat.
The brake system includes 288 mm cast iron cross drilled and ventilated discs. AP Racing 2-piston calipers provide stopping power to the front wheels, while Brembo single-piston calipers take care of the rear wheels.
The recommended selling price of the Lotus 2-Eleven Launch Edition will be £39,995 (including VAT) in the U.K. The car is available only as a track-only option outside of the UK at 49,575 euros. Pricing for Japan, South Africa, and other Lotus markets will be announced later.

Wow, this car is a beast! 🚗💨 Can’t believe it goes from 0 to 60 in just 3.8 seconds.
Does anyone know if the Lotus 2-Eleven is still in production? 🤔
39,995 pounds for a track-only car? Seems a bit steep, but I guess you pay for the thrill.
Can someone explain why the power to weight ratio is compared to a 1960s F1 car? Is it really that good?
I’m curious about the Road Going Version. How does it differ performance-wise from the track version?
Thank you for the detailed breakdown of the specs! I’ve been looking for this info everywhere. 👍
Is the Launch Edition color scheme customizable, or are we stuck with what’s offered?
So it’s not available in the U.S.? That’s a bummer. 😞
The brake system sounds impressive, but does it really handle well on the track?
