The 1-Series convertible comes as no surprise given the coupe’s traditional BMW shape. U.S. models of the 1-Series coupe will initially be powered by two 3.0 liter inline six-cylinder motors: a 230 horsepower naturally aspirated version in the 128i and a 300 horsepower twin-turbocharged version in the 135i. The convertible is expected to follow suit.
